So he was very grateful when the people from the City Health Office came and injected his wife with the vaccine. Even Felomino has been vaccinated.

“May pasyente pa akong inaalagaan kaya mahirap maglabas-labas, mas okay ‘yung bahay-bahay lalo na sa mga senior,” said Felomino.

Imus City is one of the LGUs with a house-to-house vaccination program.

Senior citizens only need to contact them for the schedule of going home.

Apart from vaccination sites and house-to-house, the drive-through is also possible if there is a vehicle and they will also be vaccinated there.

More than 10,000 people have been vaccinated throughout Imus but vaccination has been delayed due to declining supply.

Manila also offers house-to-house vaccination

Manila residents who cannot afford to go to  because they are  will also be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Since the weekend, more than 50 bedridden residents have been vaccinated through the Manila Health Department’s home service vaccination.

Bedridden people who are 18 years of age and older who are willing to be vaccinated are already being recorded in the barangays.

Because they may have a pre-existing condition, they must have family or doctor’s permission before they can be vaccinated.

Most of those vaccinated are senior citizens who are included in the vulnerable sector in COVID-19.

If there is a bedridden family member in Manila who wants to be vaccinated, they can register with the barangay to request home service vaccination with MHD.

More than 1.3 million Filipinos have been vaccinated against COVID-19 during the government’s two-month vaccination program.
