A grade 11 female student was raped by her drinking buddy in Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur. The suspect allegedly sent the assault video to the victim.
In a report on GMA News TV’s “Quick Response Team” on Wednesday, the victim’s sister said the victim went home crying Monday.
However, the sibling only found out what happened to the 18-year-old victim when she saw the conversation between her sister and the suspect.
The suspect sent a video of the crime to the victim, but she deleted it out of fear.
During police investigations, it appeared that the suspect brought the grade 11 student in a secluded grassy area when she got drunk.
The victim’s parents did not know what happened to the victim because they were not in Pagadian.
The police have a person of interest in the case.

Man arrested for stealing church donations
Authorities arrested a man for allegedly stealing church donations in Kalibo, Aklan, Thursday.
It was Tuesday night when Luther Ortega entered the adoration room and stole the money from the donation box.
According to the police, Ortega returned to the church the next day to probably steal again, but the authorities arrested him there.
More than P4,000 church donations were recovered from the suspect, and the case against him is being prepared. Ortega has yet to comment on his arrest.
