In late November last year, Ryza surprised the public by announcing on Instagram that she was “engaged,” but not to any man but himself. Calling herself self-partnered at that time, Ryza advocates self-love.

Her IG post then read: “I said YES! to give my full commitment to love myself before I give my heart to a person. And when the right one comes, I’ll transfer this ring to my other hand and accept the right one to the perfect hand. I’m engaged with myself.”

Ryza is still not engaged today, but little did the public know that she was in a relationship with Miguel Antonio Cruz, who also her baby’s father.

She said Miguel just celebrated his 15th anniversary in showbiz this year. She also said he courted her for seven months. He met Miguel through his bank manager-friend, who was also a friend of Miguel.

Ryza said Miguel was a private and non-showbiz personality. But he’s also part of the entertainment industry because he is a great cinematographer, also known as a director of photography.

Some of Miguel’s recent works include Mission Unstapabol: The Don Identity (2019) by Vic Sotto and Maine Mendoza and The Girl In the Orange Dress (2018) starring Jericho Rosales and Jessy Mendiola.

Apart from that, he was also behind the scenes of such films as DOTGA: Da One That Ghost Away (2018), a horror comedy film directed by Tony Y. Reyes and starring Ryan Bang and Kim Chiu; Director Joel Lamangan’s Foolish Love that starred Angeline Quinto and Jake Cuenca; Barbi: D Wonder Beki, another Tony Reyes film starring Paolo Ballesteros and Joey de Leon.
