Just a few months ago, steps were taken to verify documents about Lola Iska so that Guinness World Records could declare her as the world’s oldest living person.

Currently, the holder of the title of the world’s oldest living person in Kane Tanaka is living in Japan, who was born in 1903.

Guinness lists Frenchwoman Jeanne Calment as the oldest person who ever lived. She was 122 years old and 164 days old when she died on August 4, 1997.

Lola Francisca Suaso is reported to have been born in 1897 in Kabankalan, Negros Occidental. It was this year that the ice cream scoop was invented, and radio inventor Guglielmo Marconi sent the first wireless communications to the open sea.

Two months after the birth of Lola Francisca, the country’s national heroes Andres Bonifacio, Melchora Aquino, and Emilio Aguinaldo founded the Republic of Biak-na-Bato, a revolutionary government that sought to end Spanish rule in the country.
