A German man was found dead inside his home in Bacoor City, Cavite on Friday.

62-year-old Hans-Georg Becker, who was living at Elisa Homes Subdivision, was in a state of decomposition when he was discovered at 5pm.

Becker was living alone and suffering from an unknown illness. He was last seen alive on September 10.

A foul smell coming from his home alarmed his neighbours who reported the matter to barangay officials, who forced the door open before making the grim discovery.

No foul play was suspected as the German’s belongings were all inside the home. Police believe he died from a pre-existing medical condition.
