Those who went to Gubat sa Ciudad to undergo swab test

Those who recently bathed in Gubat at Ciudad Resort in Caloocan City will be subjected to a swab test to prevent the possibility of the spread of COVID-19.

“‘Yong mga nagpunta roon ina-advise natin na mag-quarantine muna sila at ramdaman ang kanilang kalusgan. Ipapa-swab din natin sila,” said Caloocan City Mayor Oscar Malapitan.

Photos of bathers at the resort went viral on Sunday for violating health protocol. Mass gathering is prohibited in Metro Manila because it is in modified enhanced community quarantine.

The local government is also looking into the name of the resort for the lawsuit. The head of the family who was the owner of the establishment allegedly died this year, said Malapitan.

Malapitan said they will not punish those who bathe at the resort for now. They will first make sure those who go to the resort are quarantined and tested.
