It appears the ‘drug mule’ syndrome continues with a new arrest of a 29-year-old Filipina at Hong Kong International Airport this weekend.
The women, who has not been identified, arrived in Hong Kong on a flight direct from Manila. She was caught with what authorities believe to be cocaine hidden in her carry-on briefcase.

Customs authorities were alarmed by the weight of the briefcase she was carrying – upon closer inspection, customs officers found hidden compartments inside the briefcase where the drugs were stashed.
If found guilty of carrying the drugs into the country the women could face life in prison as well as a five-million Hong Kong Dollar fine.
