FDA warning against 30 food products, supplements, vitamins released

The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) released a public warning against the purchase and consumption of over 30 food products, supplements, and vitamins.

According to the FDA, this includes tea, nuts, candy, juices, chocolates, vitamin C, glutathione, and collagen that are not FDA-registered.

The agency also warned against drinking Golden Nature Turmeric Tea C Chro Plus Herbal Dietary Supplement 500 mg Capsules; Genwhite Glutathione plus Collagen Capsules; Thorne Chromium Picolinate Dietary Supplement Capsules; Amazing Serpentina Herbal Supplement Capsule.

Bicol Delicacy Regalado Baquiron de Pili; Sweetven Chocolate Sweet bites-Dark Chocolate; Sweetven Milk Chocolate with Pilinuts; Sweetven Bittersweet Chocolate with Pilinuts; Sweetven Dark Chocolate with Pilinuts are also not FDA-registered.

The agency also warns the consumers from eating RJ Delicacies Special Pili Tart; De Guzman Pilinut Candies Sugar-Coated; Perfection Red Juice No Sugar Added and Perfection Green Tea No Sugar Added.

FDA advises the public to look for the FDA registration number on the products’ label. If they can’t find those markings, consumers are urged to report the sale and distribution of those products to the FDA’s contact numbers 821-1176, 821-1177, 821-1162, and 821-1220 or at its website at https://ww2.fda.gov.ph/.
