According to the police spot report, Antonio Dalit and Helos were supposed to be arrested, ending up in a shootout.

But Dalit’s sister Lydia is skeptical about this.

“Kung lumaban po ang kapatid ko may isang pulis na mamamatay kasi hindi po siya kita sa loob ng kubo nya,” he she said.

Dalit was allegedly arrested twice for drugs.

The arrest warrant served recently is said to be another drug case.

The Kabataan Party-list condemned the operation, especially since it affected minors.

Sen. Risa Hontiveros investigates the Senate’s incident, while the Commission on Human Rights also has its own investigation.

PNP chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar also ordered an in-depth investigation.

Eleazar is also calling on the community for help in the investigation.

The 10 policemen involved in the drug operation were removed from their posts as the investigation unfolded.

In June 2020, World Organization against Torture (OMCT) and the Children’s Legal Rights and Development Center said at least 129 children were killed in the Philippines’ four-year war on drugs.

The report entitled “How could they do this to my child?” said most of the victims were minors and were tagged as “collateral damage.”
