President Duterte has again threatened to eat the livers of Abu Sayyaf terrorists after two Vietnamese hostages were beheaded in Basilan.

In a speech today (Wednesday, July 5), a visibly upset president said: “I will eat your liver if you want. Give me salt and vinegar, and I will it raw in front of you.”

His words echo a similar threat when he addressed an audience of children at the opening of a sports tournament in April.

Referring to Abu Sayyaf’s foiled kidnap raid on Bohol Island, he said: “If you want me to be an animal, I’m also used to that. We’re just the same.

“I can dish out, go down what you can 50 times over.” He then said that if a terrorist was presented to him when he’s in a foul mood, “give me salt and vinegar and I’ll eat his liver.”

In today’s speech, at an event to celebrate the foundation of Hagonoy town in Davao del Sur, the president also expressed remorse for the fate of the two sailors. “Did you see the new victims they beheaded?” he asked. “The two Vietnamese that they abducted three months ago? They cut off their necks.

“We will explain this again to the Vietnamese… You want to be enslaved by these? Ay son of a bitch. Let’s just circumcise ourselves again.”

He then recalled the time in November when he allowed 17 Vietnamese fishermen arrested for poaching in Philippine waters to go back to their country without charges.

“They thanked us, but we have a new problem now. This one. The two were really beheaded.

“What are you really trying to prove with these actions? And they say they have a God? You take the name of Allah in vain? You use the name of God to kill people that way?”

In the same speech the president also pledged that there would be no abuses under martial law and urged Communists rebels to get fully behind the peace process.
