The launch of the new tourism slogan is timed to celebrate the 50th year of Philippine tourism.

It was in 2012 when the slogan “It’s More Fun in the Philippines” was used to attract tourists.

This past month, Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia-Frasco said the new tourism campaign would focus on the country’s culture and Filipinos.

“The enhanced tourism slogan will give our country an opportunity to market itself not just as a fun destination, which it will continue to be, but also as a destination for everything else that includes highlighting our culture and our people,” Frasco said in news forum.

The DOT’s target is to attract 4.8 million international tourists in 2023, after recording 2.65 million foreign visitors in 2022.
