In the case of Pasay City, which is considered one of the centers of new COVID-19 cases in the country, the spread of the coronavirus slowed slightly on Monday.

But according to Pasay Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano, it is too early to say that they have controlled the outbreak in the city so their level of response to COVID-19 will remain high.

The total number of active COVID-19 cases in Pasay is 501, where infectious variants of COVID-19 have been confirmed.

However, the local government unit (LGU) of Muntinlupa is still concerned about the increase in their cases after Valentine’s Day.

The Metro Manila Council is scheduled to meet to discuss measures against the continuing rise in COVID-19 cases, according to Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Chairman Benhur Abalos Jr.
