Chinese national jumps from condo’s 8th floor

A 22-year-old Chinese national was killed when he allegedly jumped from the 8th floor and fell on the fourth floor of a condominium in Malate, Manila.

The deceased was identified as Zhong Jing Uang, an occupant of Room 81 Legaspi Towers 300, on P. Ocampo St., at the corner of Roxas Boulevard, Malate, Manila who died due to severe injuries to his head and body.

According to an initial report, it was around 10:15 pm on January 8 when the incident occurred in the said condominium towers.

The incident was called to the Roxas Boulevard Police Community Precinct (PCP) regarding the incident, and responders found the victim lying and bleeding on the floor of the pool side’s entrance on the 4th floor.

According to the investigation, Rogina Rapadas, treasurer of the Board of Legaspi Tower, heard a scream coming from outside her unit and saw a bloody male on the floor.

The Chinese national was rushed to the nearby Manila Hospital (OSMA) but was pronounced dead at 11:50 pm.

Police continue to investigate to determine the motive for the suicide or whether a foul play has occurred in the incident.

Korean national falls to death from condo building’s 18th floor

A Korean national man is alleged to have fallen from the 18th floor of a condo on Taft Avenue, Manila, just before 2 am on Tuesday.

According to the Manila Police District Homicide Division, the man was in his 40s wearing a gray shirt and black shorts.

The Korean national had just moved into his condo unit, and his identity is still being investigated.

The man fell at De La Salle University compound.

Police are now investigating whether it was an accident, a suicide case, or a foul play.
