Cast of Philippine adaptation of World of Married Couple announced

The cast of the Philippine adaptation of the World of Married Couple was announced today, May 7.

The series was first known as ‘Doctor Foster’ but it was the South Korean adaptation ‘The World of the Married became more popular in the Philippines.

According to CineBravo, actress Jodi Sta. Maria would play the role of Dr. Ji Sun-woo, Zanjoe Marudo as Lee Tae-oh, Sue Ramirez as Yeo Da-kyung, and Zaijan Jaranilla as Lee Joon-young.

ABS-CBN and Dreamscape’s adaptation is now titled ‘The Broken Marriage Vow.’

Last month, netizens nominated former love team Piolo Pascual and Judy Ann Santos to be the cast in the remake of World of Married Couples in the Philippines.

According to Philstar.com, fans of Piolo and Juday want them to play the role of husband and wife while netizens want either Charlie Dizon, Julia Barretto, or Kylie Padilla to play as the young mistress in the popular drama series in South Korea and the .
