The Noveleta Health Office strongly reminds that the children must first register to receive the vaccination schedule.

“Kami ay nakikiusap na hintayin ang inyong schedule bago pumunta sa ating vaccination site,” said city health office.

That is despite an earlier statement by Health Undersecretary Myrna Cabojate that the DOH no longer requires registration because there is an adequate supply of the vaccine.

Most of these came from Cavite, where more than 3 million, or 84 percent of the target, received the complete dose of the vaccine.

More than 1.3 million received booster shots across the region.

Meanwhile, the Department of Health (DOH) has postponed the vaccination date for children in the 5-11 age group due to a logistical issue.

“The rollout for vaccinating children aged 5-11 years old will be postponed for a few days due to logistical challenges,” said Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire.

Instead of this February 4, the pediatric vaccination will begin on February 7 this coming Monday.

“To ensure adequate preparation and distribution of the Pfizer vaccines allocated for children 5-11 years old, the  of 5-11 years old will instead begin on 7 February (Monday),” the official added.

The DOH also ensured that they remained focused on vaccinating all Filipinos, including children.
