Bongbong Marcos urges Filipinos to protect votes from thieves

Days before the national elections in May 2022, presidential candidate Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos Jr. urged Filipinos to safeguard their ballots, saying they should not be “stolen.”

Marcos is the presidential candidate of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas and Sara Duterte’s running mate.

Since then, the former senator has dominated presidential polls, including the most recent one from Pulse Asia.

He advised Filipinos who would not vote for him to cast their votes on May 9.

According to the most recent Pulse Asia survey, Bongbong Marcos stayed on top among presidential contenders a week before the May 2022 national and municipal elections.

According to the data revealed on Monday, Marcos’ rating remained stable at 56 percent from the March 17 to 21, 2022 survey.

Vice President Leni Robredo, on the other hand, is still in second place with 23%, down 1% from the previous poll.
