Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte tandem still first in Pulse Asia survey

Former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. and his running-mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte are still undefeated in the Pulse Asia survey for the presidential and vice-presidential race.

Based on the survey conducted on February 18-23 and released on Monday, 60% of those surveyed said they would vote for Marcos as president if the polls were held on that date.

This is also the score Marcos got in the Pulse Asia survey conducted on January 19-24.

Vice President Leni Robredo followed with 15%, third was Manila Mayor Isko Moreno with 10%.

Senator Manny Pacquiao got 8%, and Senator Panfilo Lacson 2%.

Other presidential candidates Faisal Mangondato, Leody de Guzman, Jose Montemayor, Jr., Ernesto Abella and Norberto Gonzales had 0.4% or less.

Four percent of those surveyed have not yet chosen to vote.

Marcos’ biggest score came from Mindanao with 68% and the National Capital Region (NCR) with 66%. He got 58% in Balance Luzon and 53% in the Visayas.

In the vice-presidential race, the Pulse Asia survey showed that Sara Duterte got 53%, three points higher than last month.

She was followed by Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, with 24% less than the 29% he got in January.

Third was Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan (11%), followed by Doc Willie Ong (6%), and Deputy Speaker Joselito Atienza (1%).

The other vice presidential candidates got a score of 0.1%.

The largest amount of support received by Mayor Sara in the survey came from Mindanao with 82%, followed by Visayas (51%), National Capital Region (48%), and Balance Luzon (41%).

Senatorial race Pulse Asia Survey

In the battle of the senator candidates, broadcast journalist Raffy Tulfo led the Pulse Asia survey with 66.9% voting preference.

He was followed by Antique Representative Loren Legarda (58.9%), former Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar (56.2%), Taguig lawmaker Alan Peter Cayetano (55.0%) Senator Miguel Zubiri (50.5%), and Sorsogon Governor Francis Escudero ( 49.8%).

In seventh to 15th place are Robin Padilla (47.3%), former Vice President Jejomar Binay (45.6%), Senator Sherwin Gatchalian (44.6%), Senator Joel Villanueva (42.0%), former Senator Jinggoy Estrada (38.6%). %), and former Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista (32.8%).

Also included are Senator Risa Hontiveros (32.3%) and and former senator JV Ejercito (31.6%).

According to the pollster, the survey had a ± 4% error margin and 95% confidence level in each geographic area.
