As a new Kapuso, Bea Alonzo stated that she also wants to try to be a talk show host and watch sitcoms.
“To be honest, I am ready to chase more dreams, not only with acting, and this time I feel like I want to discover more about myself, say I would like to explore the idea of probably having a talk show, or like appearing on say, sitcoms,” Bea promised at her #ProudToBEAKapuso Global Media Event this Thursday.
According to Bea, her frequent leading man John Lloyd Cruz joked with her that she will also be a guest on the actor’s sitcom.
“Kanina lang kausap ko si John Lloyd, sabi niya ige-guest niya raw ako sa sitcom niya. I think I am ready to be more open to doing so many different things. I feel like ‘yun ‘yung natutunan ko rin dito sa pandemic, to take on new possibilities and challenges,” the actress said.

“Marami pa akong hindi naipapakita, that’s why I’m very, very excited. And parang feeling ko itong opportunity na ito dumating for me to be able to broaden my world, palakihin ang mundo ko, paramihin pa ang mga taong puwede kong makatrabaho,” Bea added.
Bea Alonzo is still expected to star in dramas, however, she is also open to other projects.
“And siyempre, I will always go back to my core which is drama. So you will be seeing more of me on primetime. But definitely I would like to, as I said kanina, take on challenges. So I’ll be open to doing different things this time,” she said.
Meanwhile, Bea Alonzo also revealed the Kapuso people she wants to work with, including Dennis Trillo, Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera, Alden Richards and other GMA-7 stars.
“Excited ako diyan. Kasi makakatrabaho ko na si Alden sa movie, that will also be produced by GMA, APT and Viva. But siyempre gusto ko rin siyang makatrabaho sa telebisyon. Si Alden, isa ‘yan,” said Bea to Kapuso Showbiz News.
