Baby weighing over 11 lbs. born in Tarlac

Netizens are fond of another “heavy” baby because of its plump cheek that was born in a hospital in Tarlac via normal delivery, even though he weighed 5.2 kilograms or 11.46 pounds.

The baby boy King Nathan is considered a “miracle baby” because his head was stuck in the mother’s vagina when he was born.

Leizel Apolonio, a nurse at the Tarlac Provincial Hospital, said the baby also had difficulty breathing when it was released, but the doctors caught up with it.

It is said that they usually undergo cesarean delivery when the baby is this big, so they know that the baby was delivered in the normal way.

This is said to be the first time the hospital has given birth to such a large baby via normal delivery.

Aside from weighing 5.2 kilograms, Baby King is up to 49 centimeters in size.

According to a report by GMA Regional TV News, it was said that Baby King’s mother, Abegail Pingol, went into labor for two hours.

“Muntik na rin akong bumigay sa tindi ng pag-iiri,” said Pingol, who thanked those who helped them.
