Four people were killed, including an Austrian man, when the Clarin Bridge over the Loboc River in Loay, Bohol, collapsed on Wednesday afternoon, April 27.
A netizen ‘Jiee Borja,’ who is from a ‘John Ceballos Garay,’ shared the video of an Austrian national woman, who was found to be the wife of one of those killed in the incident while mourning the recovered body of her 30-year-old husband.
According to the report, the Austrian couple went to the Philippines for a honeymoon. The husband allegedly managed to break the glass window of their car so that his wife, who was also found pregnant, could escape. Unfortunately, her husband was not fortunate enough to survive. He died on arrival when he was rushed to the hospital.
In the comment section, the brother of Julia Ouschan, the wife who was crying in the video, begged not to spread her photos and videos.
“I know you mean all the best, but I want to ask you to please delete the videos and photos of her crying over his dead body. It’s just too much in our families to see this over the internet right now!” he said.

Meanwhile, more than 15 people were reportedly injured and immediately taken to the hospital. The bridge collapsed around 4:00 p.m. The three victims were all Filipinos.
It is said that in 2013 the bridge was damaged due to a 7.2 magnitude earthquake. Motorists are still passing through it as they wait for the new bridge next to it to be completed. Cargo vehicles were among those who passed through the collapsed bridge.
According to Bohol Governor Art Yap, the bridge could not handle the number of vehicles stopped here due to stationary traffic, according to a report by Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) 3rd District chief Magiting Cruz.
