On Monday, a fire broke out on vessel Mercraft 2 going for Real, Quezon, according to the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG).
In a statement, PCG Commodore Armand Balilo said that the vessel Mercraft 2 left Polillo Island at 5 a.m. with 124 passengers on board.

A fire hit the vessel at around 1,000 yards from the Port of Real.
According to the latest update of the PCG, seven people died while 107 were rescued from vessel Mercraft 2.
