Pokwang clarifies Lee O’Brian did not cheat

Comedian Pokwang defended Lee O’Brian, clarifying her ex-partner did not cheat on her.

The actress-comedian told Nelson Canlas on “24 Oras” that the internet rumors were not true.

“Una sa lahat, walang third party in all fairness kay Papang. Hindi rin pera. Walang ganon. Siguro baka napagod lang kami,” she said.

“Sana alam ng tao na iyong hinuhusgahan niyo na si Lee O’Brian ay mabuting tao naman po, mabuting ama. Nasasaktan lang ako do’n sa mga nababasa ko kesyo palamunin ko raw. Masipag po iyong tao.”

She stated that she wanted to keep their split private because she had always dealt with difficulties alone.

“Ako iyong taong lahat tinitiis ko. Hangga’t kaya ko, ako lang. Hangga’t kaya kong itago sa mga anak ko, huwag iiyak sa kanila, lahat ng burden, gusto ko ako lang,” Pokwang said.

“Parang nahihiya akong mandamay sa pamilya ko, which is naisip ko ngayon na kaya nga pamilya, dapat damayan.”

Kapuso star Pokwang confirmed she her boyfriend Lee O’Brian, father of one of her  has separated.

In an interview with Suzy Entrata on GMA show “Unang Hirit,” she said that they have been separated for eight months.

When asked how she is, Pokwang said,”OK na OK. Kasi maganda yung pagkakatapos.”

“We’re friends,” she added.

Pokwang clarifies Lee O’Brian did not cheat

According to the actress, she is busy taking care of her children.

“Hindi ka puwede mag-dwell sa past,” she explained.

Last Friday, Ogie Diaz announced in a vlog post that Pokwang and Lee are separated.

Pokwang and Lee met during the shooting of the film “ Woolworth” in 2014.

They have one daughter, Malia, who is four years old.

Aside from taking care of her children, she is also busy with GMA projects. This includes hosting “Tiktoclock,” with Kuya Kim and Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo.

“Ang Tiktoclock, abangan niyo ‘yan, mula Lunes hanggang Biyernes, 11:15 a.m. ngayong July 25 na po ‘yan,” she said.

She debuted on an ABS-CBN reality show before making appearances in the network’s dramas and sitcoms. For her performance in the sitcom Aalog-Alog, she was also given the Best Comedy Actress award by the Philippine Movie Press Club, as well as the People’s Choice Award for Best Female Comedian.
